User configuration

Only an Arkeia Administrator can configure users.

Add a new user

Name
The new user name.
Password
The password for this user.
Role
Choose the level of access for this user.
Email
Enter the email address for this user. Arkeia can send notifications to this address during backup and restore jobs. The level of messaging can be adjusted from none at all to a maximum, by the user.
Server list
Check the servers to which this user will have access.

Click on Create to save the new user.

Modify a user

Click on the name of the user to modify in the Select a user list. Only the Role, Email address and Server list can be modified.

Click on Update to save the changes.

Change password

To change a password, it is necessary to know the old password. Users who have forgotten their password will have to be deleted, then added as a new user.

Remove a user

Select the user to remove from the Select a user list, then click on Delete... to remove the user.
