Disclaimer:
This program is not part of Debian, because the license discriminates
against forbids selling for profit fields of endeavour, which violates
the Debian Free Software Guidelines part 1 and 6 respectively
(see www.debian.org/social_contract ). Neither of these conditions
impedes the autobuilding of the package.
Comment:
The upstream source tarball is repacked to drop off some substantial
weight and to allow clean git-buildpackage builds by mainly cleaning
up regenerated files (bootstrap and autotools related material, PDF
documentation) and discarding material certainly forgotten by the
upstream team that appeared to parasitize builds (empty bin folder,
empty AUTHOR and ChangeLog files, forgotten regenerated and misplaced
 headers, makeindex auxiliary files).

Comment:
According to Pierre l"Ecuyer, the license under which his hosting University
currently distribute TestU01 may change in a near future to something more
 permissive as GPL or Berkeley.

Comment:
This file contains 100663296 bits (12 MiB or twelve mebibytes) of raw random data
obtained by hand concatenation (cat(1)) of twelve one mebibyte raw random data files
downloaded as-is from <https://www.random.org/files/>; thanks to the Mads Haahr
<mads@random.org> for giving access to these true random bits. Basically this file
is meant to replace the absent `examples/excel.pts' data file used by the sample C
source `examples/scat.c': it appeared that the upstream team is very reluctant to
ship it because they consider it as obsolete beside being very heavy; they suggest
raw random data from a physical phenomenon as possible alternative to keep the
examples material working and consistent, <https://www.random.org/files/> data
 are extracted from atmospheric noise.
